Session Drummer - Replacing Snare
Right-Click on your drummer track and Select Convert > Convert to MIDI Region
Hold down Option key and drag MIDI region down to create a copy on a new track.
Rename the new track to Snare Sample.
Double-Click on the MIDI region to open the MIDI Editor.
Select all of the non-Snare MIDI notes and delete them. The Snare Center will be on piano key D 1 and Snare Rimshot will be on E 1.
You now have a separate track with the snare drum duplicated.
