Legendary Free-Floating Shell
The Free-Floating chassis sets this drum apart from all others. The only thing touching the shell are the drumheads. The throw-off, lugs and other hardware are part of the special edge ring which holds the drum and heads together. The shell is free to speak with its intended voice without being encumbered by shell stress or stability, resulting in a natural resonance that is loud and immediate.
