The Legendary Black Beauty …
An American classic, the Black Beauty delivers a warm, fat, metallic tone that cuts through a thick mix like nothing else. This one is a limited edition, fitted with gold-plated hardware including die cast hoops, P88BP die cast throw off, and tube lugs. This drum is super responsive (and beautiful). Due to a complex manufacturing process, they're not easy to make, so the Black Beauty is only available in limited quantities each year from Ludwig USA. The perfect drum to kick-off samples from our newly designed studio.
