An American classic, the Black Beauty delivers a warm, fat, metallic tone that cuts through a thick mix like nothing else. This one is a limited edition, fitted with gold-plated hardware including die cast hoops, P88BP die cast throw off, and tube lugs. This drum is super responsive (and beautiful). Due to a complex manufacturing process, they're not easy to make, so the Black Beauty is only available in limited quantities each year from Ludwig USA.

This allows you to easily create MIDI files and/or trigger replacements.  You can also use the Room Mic-only velocity files for layering or creating a unique sound enhanced by our incredible drum tracking room.
