Tama’s Ultimate Snare Drum
This incredibly engineered snare drum features a 7 ply 6mm maple shell finished in gloss mocha brown. The 1200 snare bed allows for a freely resonating bottom head and maximum snare response. This is further refined by the unique 18-strand snares which consist of 3 different materials: 6 metal guitar strings, 6 stainless steel straight wire, and 6 hi-carbon coils. Each strand set is individually adjustable and mounted in Tama’s patented Multi Snare Frame which extends beyond the shell on both sides. Coupled with Tama’s linear drive system, 3 vents, grooved straight hoops, and freedom lug and claw hooks, this snare sounds amazing!
